My love for destination wedding photography and for travelling leads me quite often to Cyprus. I love the variety in the landscape, the rich traditions and the hospitality and culture of people. This summer two amazing weddings took place at Larnaca and Lefkara. Both were organised by RSVP events.  Maria and Alex chose to have their ceremony at Agia Marina Church, Pyrga and their reception at the Olive Grove, Delikipos; celebrating with a mad party till early in the next morning. On the other hand Katerina and Phedias had their wedding and reception at the traditional and beautiful village of Lefkara and the whole event as amazingly elegant.

Capturing those moments was great, both weddings were like a fairy tale with a special decoration full of hundreds of string lights around a big tree or hanged among the trees.

I have a very basic approach to my wedding photo journalistic work. I am fascinated by the natural human emotions so I strive to share those very real occasions with the viewer and always to give them the feeling of being there at that very moment when two people who love each other so much commit their lives to each other. To me, that’s truly the meaning of wedding documentary photography.

And, as a big fan of those real moments, I enjoy shooting numerous creative candid shots that convey the true emotions. I believe in realism and not in photo shopped staged wedding photography. That’s because I firmly believe that you look great just the way you are on your wedding day. And, that’s why I want to creatively capture it!
