Behind the Brand
The Creative Team Behind Magdalene Kourti’s Visual World
I’m a collaborative spirit by nature. While I “currently” work solo and love what I do— documenting human connection, love, light, and atmosphere through photography — I also know that some things in life are better done together.
If you’ve been following my journey, you’ll know that I recently redesigned my website. My previous website? I built it myself. I’m a fine art graduate and I have a deep love for design, and yes — I know my way around digital spaces too.
But after some reflection (and a little perfect alignment with the stars !!), I felt it was time for something more, something layered, intentional, and collaborative. I believe that when you invite other artists into your world, something magical happens. You see new perspectives. You create something richer. You build not just a brand or a website — but an experience.
I trust the universe to bring the right collaborators into my path, and deeply value the people I attract through this work. So when it came time to evolve my visual world, I knew I didn’t want to do it alone. When I look at my website now, I see more than just pages. I see story, energy, friendship, and trust woven into every pixel.
Today, I’d love to pull back the curtain and introduce you to two of the creative minds behind it: my Brand & Graphic Designer, and my Web Designer & Developer.
Graphic Design & Visual Identity
George Chatzigeorgiou
Retrobox Design
If you’ve spent any time on my website, you’ve already seen George’s work—though it’s the kind of design that whispers rather than shouts. Elegant. Clever. Intuitive. Honest.
George is a Greek freelance designer and collage artist based in Rhodes, and to say he brings depth to design would be an understatement. His philosophy? “Good design is a simple way to say complicated things.” (Yes—that’s exactly what I want my photography to do, too.)
George has a beautiful way of creating visual identity that holds story. His work is all about contrast and duality—clarity, texture, honesty, a little bit of mystery. He is someone who understands that design is as much about feeling as about form, and that’s what drew me to him from the start.
Working with George on my brand was not just about picking a logo or a font. It was about capturing an atmosphere, a tone, a way of seeing. I wanted my brand to feel timeless, soulful, and slightly cinematic—and he translated that vision beautifully.
Also: George’s collage work is incredible. If you haven’t seen it, go browse. Prepare to fall in.

Website Design & Development
Aleksandra Devetzoglou
The Yogic Design
When it came to bringing my new website to life, I knew I wanted more, I wanted a space that would feel aligned with my photography: intentional, soulful, light-filled, and alive. Working with Alex didn’t feel like a typical design process. It felt like a journey, one where every layer was built with care, intuition, and a deep understanding of who I am and what I wanted to share with the world.
From the very beginning, Alex approached the project not just as a technical build, but as the creation of a sacred digital space — a home that would hold the energy, story, and spirit of my work. I came to her with many ideas and she listened deeply. She held space for my vision to unfold naturally and together we created something that is truly mine. Piece by piece, my website feels true, spacious, and full of life.
Beyond the design itself, Alex brought incredible presence to the process—guiding me through structure, flow, storytelling, pacing, and all those behind-the-scenes layers that give a site its rhythm and soul. What could have felt overwhelming became easeful, thoughtful, even joyful.
The result? A space that doesn’t only showcase my work, but invites people into it!

Why I Believe In Collaboration
I could have built a quick template website. I could have grabbed a free font and called it a day. But that’s not how I work—and that’s not how I want to show up for the couples I photograph.
Photography, to me, is about being intentional. About how things feel. About what stories they tell.
And so... it only made sense that my brand, my website, my entire visual presence be created with that same care and thoughtfulness. I’m grateful for George and Aleksandra for bringing their artistry, their minds, and their intuition to this space. If you are a photographer, creative, or business owner looking to work with people who truly understand soulful design—I couldn’t recommend them more.
